Who doesn't like their neighbors?

Introduce yourself to your neighbor – it just might make them like you!

You're more likely to like your neighbors if you know their names, according to a recent Trulia study. Two-thirds of Americans like their neighbors, but that number jumps to 80 percent among people who know their neighbors' names.

In some ways, the correlation is obvious: You're almost certainly going to know the name of a neighbor you like. But the simple act of learning someone's name is also a great start to building trust and rapport.

The next time you bump into your neighbor, try introducing yourself and see what happens!
