ResponsibilitiesJob Objectives: The Administrative Assistant will be an integral member of the Risk Management team providing direct administrative support including but not limited to the following:
Reports to: Insurance Manager
Department: Risk Management Department
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Policy administration:Update and maintain insurance tracker with coverage presentations, premium, commission, expiration, binders, and policies
File & upload documents such applications, binders, policies to SharePoint
Review invoices for accuracy before processing
Others:Manage multiple calendars and schedule meetings
Assist with presentation materials which require strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Schedule and support meetings
Pull reports and files
Organize the Insurance Drive
Search, consolidate historical data, organize, and upload to SharePoint
New vendor set up
Distribute incoming mail and handle outgoing mail
On occasion may provide assistance to Treasury department
Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have the following:
2-3 years administrative experience preferred
Extremely strong organizational, project and time management skills; detail-oriented
Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer skills are required and should include Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong team player and collaborator
Education: Bachelor’s degree is a plus
SUPERVISES: No direct reports
COMPENSATION: Non-exempt. Position eligible for overtime.
